Description
A hot cast LG4 Gunmetal bronze figurine of Bellerophon riding Pegasus in a polished but not varnished wood base.
Hand crafted by a Royal Engineer veteran when he ran a foundry in Lancashire.
These polish up to a high degree. As they are hot cast and not cold cast metal filings stirred into a polymer, if you drop this, it will break your toe and not the statue.
Over 6 inches high the base has been left natural so that you can add your own colour of varnish and then tap the bronze into the ready made hole in the base. Once in, the only way that you will get it out of the base, is to cut the wood off. Take note.
