Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for purchasing our Jules cartoon album. We want you to be delighted with your trip down memory lane, but if something isn’t quite right, we are here to help.

1. Your Right to Cancel (The ‘Cooling-Off’ Period)

Under the UK’s Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to change your mind and cancel your order for any reason.

  • Notification Period: You have 14 days from the day you receive your album to notify us that you wish to cancel.
  • Return Period: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
  • Condition: To receive a full refund, the album must be returned in its original, resaleable condition.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

We take great care in packaging our albums, but if yours arrives damaged, faulty, or is not as described:

  • Short-Term Right to Reject: Within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • After 30 Days: If a fault is discovered after the initial 30 days (but within six months), we will offer a replacement or repair in the first instance.
  • Postage Costs: If the item is faulty or damaged, we will cover the cost of the return postage.

3. How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact us at jules@julesberne.com with your order number.

  • Proof of Purchase: Please retain your confirmation email or dispatch note as proof of purchase.
  • Packaging: We recommend using the original packaging (or equivalent protection) to ensure the album reaches us safely.

4. Refunds

Once we receive your returned album (or receive evidence that it has been posted), we will process your refund within 14 days.

  • Original Delivery Costs: We will refund the cost of standard delivery. If you chose an expedited or “signed for” service, only the standard rate will be refunded.
  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at checkout.

5. Exclusions

Please note that we cannot offer refunds for “change of mind” on:

  • Items that have been significantly handled, marked, or damaged by the customer.
  • Personalised versions of the album (if applicable), unless they are faulty.
